This graceful, spry, and bubbly teacher brings patience and zaz to each class. A truly seasoned dance professional, Rebecca has over ten years of experience in partner dance instruction. She has a depth of knowledge in a variety of styles of swing, Latin and ballroom dances.
Rebecca is well known in the Twin Cities for her teaching abilities and choreographic skills. She initiated and hosted, for 5 years, the popular Noche de Salsa at the Quest Club in Minneapolis.
Her choreographic credits include working with our local theatres - Juene Lune "The Ballroom" & "Maria de Buenos Aires", Red Eye Theatre "Works in Progress" & "Queen of Block E" and Gerry Girouard's "Sketches of Dorian Gray" and "Madres de Plaza Del Mayo".
Rebecca has traveled from coast to coast teaching and training in Swing, Salsa, Tango and Ballroom dance. She has studied and worked with several dance masters in Argentina, Cuba and the United States. Rebecca teaches bilingually to make lessons more inviting for Latinos/as.
She possesses a fellowship with the Society of Dance Artists, an exclusive association of dance artists world-wide.
Health and fitness are an integral part of Rebecca's dance theory. She is certified with the National Dance Exercise Instructors Training Association and continues studying independently.
Rebecca has also hosted and choreographed for many corporate events - including Anderson Windows, General Mills, Pillsbury and many more. Rebecca loves community events and has worked with Orchestra Hall, Loring Park Art Fair, Uptown Art Fair, Lyn-Lake Street Fair and more.
